Pomerado Imaging offers
Virtual Colonography
, a new technique using a multi-detector CT scanner combined with virtual reality software that allows radiologists to examine the colon. The exam takes about 30 minutes and simply involves the insertion of a soft small caliber tube into the rectum and distending the colon with air.
